Emily Auckland
Emily Auckland is Network Director at UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD). UKSSD brings organisations together to accelerate progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the UK.
Having helped found UKSSD in 2015, Emily now leads its unique model of collaborative action through the combined expertise and cross-sector influence of its partners, helping it to become a thriving and influential SDG network.
In 2018 she coordinated the inputs of over 100 organisations on UKSSD’s landmark Measuring up report which is the most comprehensive assessment of UK progress on the SDGs and provides organisations in the UK with a starting point for collective action on the biggest sustainability challenges of our time. Recognising the importance of 2020 and the countdown to delivering the ambition of the Goals, UKSSD launched its action plan for the SDGs in January including a continued focus on the role of the UK Government, measuring the UK’s performance and new cross-sector programmes for systems transformation.
Emily is a Fellow of the RSA and edie Sustainability Leader of the Year 2019 finalist.
